Lindum Lincoln Rotary ready for Christmas fundraising already

The club’s Christmas card campaign has previously raised tens of thousands of pounds for End Polio Now.

The Rotary Club of Lindum Lincoln, Lincolnshire, has revealed the cover design for the 2023 edition of it’s Christmas card campaign.

The campaign is done to raise money for End Polio Now, having raised £38,684 since 2016 which increases to £116,052 when taking Bill & Melinda Gates’ double matching into account.

The cover is from a hand painted original donated by a local artist. The back page of the card explains Rotary’s long-term project to eradicate Polio since 1985, as well as a membership marketing message about Rotary, Rotarians volunteering service, fun, fellowship, and how to join.

Cards are sold in packs of 10 for £4.80 including post and packaging, with 100% of profits go to The Rotary Foundation’s End Polio Now (EPN) campaign.

In 2022, each purchasing club’s End Polio Now record was credited with a massive £2.70 for each pack of cards purchased, an amazing 56% of the purchase price.

A dedicated team of “Lindum Elves” packs the cards into professional cello packs and the inside of the cards is blank so that the purchasing club can add their own message or event promotion inside.

Lindum’s Project Leader, Past-District Governor Simon Kalson, is hoping to grow the customer base and sales yet again in this eighth year.

He commented: “We are thrilled with the success of this customer-led project. Our customers are always surprised by how much of the purchase price is credited to their club’s End Polio Now account.”

You can receive more details and the order form for the 2023 card by contacting Simon by email or filling in this online form.
