Mobo Nominee, International Award winning star, and Radio presenter, Sandra Godley will be performing at the Belgrade Theatre tonight in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Coventry Jubilee.

Sandra will be joined by a host of up and coming Coventry performers in a tribute to the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. To help her on the night, Sandra has brought some of her friends along, starting with BBC Coventry and Warwickshire afternoon presenter, Trish Adudu who will be the host for the night.

Also starring in the show on the night is BBC’s The Voice stars, Letitia George who opened the show for the BBC this year, Karl Loxley and Reece Bahia who had special recognition from Kylie! The lineup doesn’t stop there, as Allesley School of Dance, who has produced west end stars, will be performing some dances to wow the audience.

Other acts are two of the shining stars from last year’s Coventry School’s Young Entertainer. Laura Warwick, who received a special recognition award, will be taking on songs from Motown giant Bill Withers and Richard Fairlee, who came second in the show last year, will be taking on singing legend Stevie Wonder. Larna Andrews, another amazing singer and musician who is currently being mentored by Sandra, will assist her in opening the show.

Sandra is also keeping one or two more surprises up her sleeve, but this is going to be show for the entire family, one that the city will be talking about for a long time to come.

Warren Offer, of the Rotary Club of Coventry Jubilee comments: “I saw Sandra perform last year to thousands at the Godiva Festival and I knew then that she needed to perform at the Belgrade in 2015.”

Sandra adds: “I was shocked and delighted when I was approached by Warren to produce this show and after speaking to my record label in Nashville, we jumped at the chance.

“I feel passionately about this city and to be able to produce a show of this standard and use so many home grown talent has been a pleasure”.
