Nicki Scott has been appointed to the role of Rotary International Vice President for 2022-23.
Nicki, who is currently Leader of the Association for Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland, will take up the role on 1st July, having been selected by incoming Rotary International President, Jennifer Jones.
Canadian Jennifer has urged people to dream big and imagine the possibilities as she prepares to become Rotary’s first female President.
On her appointment, Nicki said: “I’m so excited or this amazing opportunity to stand by the side of Rotary’s first female President in a monumental year.
“I couldn’t be more committed to moving our organisation forward. We’re faced with an opportunity to imagine a healthy, relevant future for Rotary and another century of life-changing service.”
Nicki joined Rotary in 2000 while living in the United States, and has been a member of The North Cotswolds Rotary since returning to the UK in 2018.
Nicki has been dedicated to the future of Rotary, having been part of the Strategic Planning Committee 2015-18, and is currently Rotary International Director 2021-23.
