A day of fun and adventure for disabled or disadvantaged children.
Rotary Children's Fun Day provides positive experiences for some of the UK's most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
The programme is organised by Rotary clubs across the country. It is supported by Kids in Mind, a children's charity that offers mental health and wellbeing support for children escaping domestic violence.
For more than three decades, Rotary has been giving disabled and disadvantaged young people the chance to enjoy new experiences, taste adventure and have fun trips and days out.
More than 1 million children have enjoyed a break from the ordinary in a range of ways.
All of this is made possible thanks to Rotary clubs, who help to organise and fund activities, with many Rotary members also volunteering a helping hand.
It brings fun into the lives of children who often have come from difficult backgrounds, escaped domestic violence, or are disadvantaged in a number of ways.
For 2025, Rotary is planning to give at least another 30,000 children that special experience.
Thank you for your incredible support of the initiative in 2024. Thanks to your generosity, an outstanding ÂŁ84,225 was raised, enabling the delivery of 3,369 toy boxes to children living in domestic abuse refuges across Great Britain and Ireland, bringing smiles and joy during the festive season. This initiative was a true success, made possible through the support of our valued partner, Kids in Mind.
Please keep an eye out for details of the 2025 campaign, launching in late summer—we look forward to making an even greater impact together!
Rotary Children's Fun Day is a Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland project supported by Kids in Mind.
